Comments: Dr. Ellis and his staff were amazing. My ankle was 36 degrees off center when I first met for a consultation. I fully expected Dr. Ellis to say my ankle was not able to be repaired and I would have to live with my condition for the rest of my life. I couldn't have been more wrong, he was excited about the challenge and got Dr. Deland in to meet me. Together they devised a plan to fix my ankle. After the surgery I had little to no pain and still do not have any to this day 6 months later. I no longer take pain medication, I have thrown away my braces, and my pain is non existent. I cannot thank the Drs. and the staff at HSS enough for their care. The true review is that my friends and family are in amazement and as happy for me as I am, that I now have no issues walking or doing daily activities. I tell everyone who asks that the only place to go is HSS and Dr. Ellis and Dr. Deland.
