    About the Experience

Comments: I had ankle surgery in March 2016 that was performed by another surgeon. The end-result was traumatic: the doctor left my ankle and lower leg in a traumatic state (permanent swelling, constant aching/cracking, awful blood circulation, knots and severe loss of feeling and range of motion). I was 35 and athletic at the time. After some really dark and painful times, I decided to seek "the best of the best foot care in NYC" and went to see Dr. Ellis. From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt like I was listened to and cared for. His entire team was absolutely fantastic. X-rays, MRI, referrals and follow-up appointments were seamless. Dr. Ellis offered a calm and confident approach to long-term care, which is just what I needed. He recommended me to one his best physical therapists and I started soon after my initial visit. I am now out of the hole, walking, running and biking. Although some of the initial damage was irreparable, I regained confidence and partial range of motion to my ankle. I would recommend Dr. Ellis for any sort of foot injury (minor or major) in a heartbeat - you will absolutely leave satisfied and a little happier!
