Comments: Dr Ellis replaced both my ankles. Before the first replacement, pain would wake me from sleep and keep me from walking, let alone traveling and participating in normal activities. I was frightened of the operation and of the recovery, but the entire process went very smoothly because of the expertise and skill of Dr Ellis and of his entire staff. It went so well that I replaced the other ankle less than two years later! I also had both knees replaced by his colleague, Dr Della Valle. The two of them have restored me and now nothing hurts when I walk. I am very grateful to Dr Ellis, Dr Della Valle, their staffs, and the expert care at HSS.
